Pricing, Deposit and Delivery
The price of the Velochair is $5,499 (shipping included within the lower 48 states). Our pricing includes fitting the Velochair to your size, shipping within the Continental US, accessories such as pedals, bell, bag and ObusForme cushions. To order your
Velochair a 50% deposit is paid to start construction. When your Velochair is ready to be shipped the 50% balance is due before shipping.
Measurements
Measurements are unique to each individual, and we want to make sure that the Velochair fits like a glove. Once we’ve established our initial call or Zoom, we’ll send you our Measurements sheet that asks
for things like inseam and leg length.
Limited Warranty
The Velochair® is built to careful standards and under normal use such as: speeds no greater than 4MPH, weight of user not above 285lbs, and traveling over impediments no higher than 2 inches the Limited
Warranty is honored for a period of 12 months from the delivery date. This warranty does not cover device failure due to owner misuse or negligence, or normal wear and tear. The warranty does not extend to
normal wear items such as tires and brake pads (usually last over 1000 miles), accessories, caster wheels, all of which are subject to normal wear.
Return Policy
We think the Velochair is great, however we want you to decide for yourself. If you are not satisfied with the Velochair for any reason, it can be returned to us for a full refund. You must notify us of the
return within two weeks after you have received the Velochair, pay for the return shipping, insure there is no damage to the Velochair and we will be happy to refund your full payment.
Maintenance
It’s rare that maintenance will be required with the Velochair. Though if it does need a tune up, you can always bring your Velochair to an experienced bicycle mechanic for adjustments. We recommend doing so
at least once a year. If you have a more major issue with the Velochair or would like additional add-ons to your chair, you can always contact us directly at

How much does a Velochair weigh?
The basic Velochair weight is 42 pounds. Depending on accessories used this can vary.
Will the Velochair fit into a small SUV?
Yes, the Velochair easily fits into a small SUV or hatchback without removing the wheels. It has also been transported in vehicles with large trunks or the back seat of sedans.
What is the maximum user weight?
The current maximum recommended user weight is 285 pounds.
What is the maximum and minimum user height?
The Velochair can be adjusted to fit a wide range of user heights. Currently we have users from 4 feet to 6 foot 4 inches. There are customization possibilities for users beyond these ranges.
What is the height of the seat above the floor?
The height of the seat above the floor can be 16 to 18 inches, depending on the thickness of the seat cushion.
What is the seat cushion thickness and will other standard seat cushions fit?
The included seat cushion is made by Obusforme and ergonomically designed using high-density fire-retardant foam. (maybe put in link to Obusforme), The seat cushion support webbing will accommodate many individual user cushions.
What size tires are used on the front and rear?
The front tires are 20 1/8 inch and the rear caster wheels are 8-inch tires. Booth wheelsets use solid foam flat proof tires.
Why 4 tires instead of 3?
The VeloChair is designed with inherent stability using the 4-tire design. Many 3 tire designs require additional outriggers for stability. Using the Velochair 4-tire design helps to keep the turning radius tight.
What are the folded dimensions?
The height of the Velochair folded is 28 inches, width is 28 inches, length is 44 inches.
Can the Velochair be used outdoors?
Yes, the Velochair is equally suited to use indoors or out.
